Ansvar Insurance Limited (New Zealand) has changed its name to ACS (NZ) Limited.
This follows our decision to wind down our business in New Zealand, and no longer offer insurance here. However, we continue to provide a New Zealand based claims service for the management of any outstanding claims.
We remain committed to providing a high quality claims management service.

I have a current claim, how am I affected?
The name change does not affect the way we will handle your claim. We are committed to resolving all claims for former Ansvar New Zealand customers as quickly as possible.

Can I still make new claims?
Ansvar Insurance Limited (New Zealand) cancelled all policies (except Construction Insurance policies) at 4pm on 31 December 2011. If the event you are claiming for occurred before that time then you can still make a claim.

How do I make a claim?
To make a claim please call a member of our claims team on 0800 123 344.

If I want to make a claim with my new Ansvar Australia policy, how do I do that?
If you were a customer of Ansvar New Zealand that took up the offer of temporary cover through Ansvar Australia, then you can make a claim by visiting the Ansvar Australia website and completing the Online Claim Form.
